What is all this about then?

Each year, for the last three years, we organise a fundraising calendar for local Animal Rescue and as a community, we have raised over $30,000 for local animals in need! We can’t do any of this without your support.

So how can you help?

Become a Participant

• Do you have a pet (dog, cat or horse) who you adore and whom you would love to be photographed?

• Do you want beautiful keepsake artwork of your pet for your walls?

• Are you committed to raise money for Animal Rescue for local animals in need?

• Are you a little bit competitive and like to win prizes?

If you answered yes to these questions, it seems like you would be the perfect candidate to be a Calendar Fundraiser Participant.

Do you Own or Manage a Business? Maybe you’re a start up?

Each year we have many small businesses (pet related and non-pet related businesses) who support our calendar fundraiser by donating prizes, both big and small.

Maybe you can’t be a participant in the calendar, but you could support us by being a business sponsor this year?

We welcome donations of goods, services or gift vouchers in value from $20 through to $300!

How does it all work then?

We start with 13 hand selected participants. Each person has a pet or two they wish to enter for the Calendar.

I photograph their pet(s) for the calendar.

Each participant asks their family and friends to vote for them. One Vote = One Dollar.

The voting occurs over a 5 week span.

Each week, the biggest fundraiser for that week will receive small weekly prizes donated by local businesses as an incentive to raise the most money that week.

After the 5 week voting has occurred, the participant who has the most votes in 1st position will have their image on the COVER of the Calendar, plus a month of their choosing. They will also receive the major prize.

2nd Highest votes, will win a spot in the calendar of their month choice - plus 2nd Prize.

3rd Highest Vote will win a spot in the calendar of their month choice - plus 3rd Prize.

All money raised goes directly to GSAP.

How else do we raise money?

People can buy grid squares in the calendar for $15, which they can upload pictures of their pets or their business logo.
